Our Articling and Summer Student programs are designed to expose students to the firm’s daily operations and the many facets of private practice.
Soloway Wright does not have a formal rotation system; instead, students work closely with our partners and associates on various files and problems, helping tackle complex legal issues while developing the skills needed to serve clients. In addition, articling students have the opportunity to take on their own files, under the supervision of a lawyer.
Student Mentoring and Feedback
Soloway Wright has an open-door policy and our lawyers value the opportunity to act as mentors. We are committed to providing our students with exposure to all aspects of the firm’s areas of practice coupled with a student experience commensurate with each students’ individual needs and interests.
Our Articling Committee will regularly review your progress and be available to discuss matters of both a professional and general nature with you.
Currently co-chaired by Sanjay Srivastava and Charlie Honeywell, the Articling Committee is responsible for the selection and hiring of Soloway Wright’s summer and articling students. Our co-chairs are also liaisons to the rest of our team, ensuring that every student has a fulfilling and valuable experience as they prepare for their call to the bar.
To enhance your legal education, our lawyers conduct seminars for our students on a variety of topics throughout the summer term and articles. These seminars assist students in gaining a better understanding of both the business and practice of law and provide an excellent forum for questions.
Student Salary and Remuneration
