About Tamara

Tamara Belley joined Soloway Wright as an associate in 2025 after completing her articles with the firm. Tamara practices with the Municipal, Land Development & Expropriation team where she supports a variety of clients including private developers, land owners, municipalities, and community groups. Tamara received her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with High Distinction in Criminology and Criminal Justice, with a concentration in law, from Carleton University. During her time at Carleton, she participated in the Alternative Spring Break Program, where she engaged in community service-learning outreach with students and community members to construct an elementary school in Costa Rica. While at law school, Tamara was a member of two unique legal research clinics focused on environmental law and the intersection between climate change and municipalities. She also served as the Executive Solicitations Editor for the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues, a student-run legal journal at Windsor Law. Outside of the office, Tamara enjoys camping, cycling, and downhill skiing.
