Soloway Wright Expands Construction Law Group with New Talent and Continued Growth

Soloway Wright is pleased to announce the continued growth of its Construction Law group, strengthening its ability to serve clients across all phases of construction projects throughout Canada.

This year, we welcomed associate lawyer Sarah Naughton and partner Mark Gallagher to the group, further enhancing the depth and breadth of experience within the practice.

They join an established team of partners Todd Storms and Dan Leduc, alongside associate lawyers Lama Bakroun, Chelsea Packman, Kris Dixon, Victoria Partington, Ryan Gallagher, and Ryan Stubbs.

With a 10-lawyer team, the Construction Law group brings extensive experience and practical insight across all aspects of construction law. Our lawyers work with a wide range of industry participants, including owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants, providing strategic advice throughout the lifecycle of a project.

Our experience allows clients to assess and manage risk before, during, and after construction, and to effectively enforce or defend their interests when disputes arise.

The group provides guidance and representation in a broad range of construction matters, including:

  • Tendering and bidding advice
  • Drafting and negotiating construction contracts
  • Litigation involving breaches of contract, delay claims, loss of productivity, design issues, and negligence
  • Mediation, arbitration, and adjudication
  • Construction bonding and surety matters

In addition to dispute resolution and advisory services, our Construction Law group works closely with colleagues in the Real Estate & Development, Municipal, Land Development & Expropriation, and Environmental Law groups. This integrated approach allows us to deliver comprehensive legal support to clients navigating complex, multi-faceted construction and development projects.

Our team is committed to helping industry leaders manage risk, resolve disputes efficiently, and achieve successful project outcomes at every stage of construction.
