Taylor Stanton joined Soloway Wright as an associate in 2022 after working as a summer student and completing his articles with the firm. Taylor practices as part of our Municipal, Land Development & Expropriation Group, representing developers, businesses and individuals.
Taylor completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dalhousie University. Prior to law school, Taylor worked in Yellowknife in the mining sector where he negotiated, drafted, and managed complex contracts. Taylor has enjoyed a wide breadth of volunteer positions, including volunteer firefighting, sitting on the John Howard Community Justice Committee, acting as an aide in a Parliamentary office, and coaching high school rugby.
After work, you will usually find Taylor outdoors with his dog Holt. He enjoys playing hockey, baseball, rugby, and golf. He is also an avid runner and has a couple white water canoe expeditions under his belt.
