About Dylan
Dylan joined Soloway Wright in 2025 as an associate of our litigation group. Prior to joining the firm, Dylan worked as a staff lawyer with a national law firm in Ottawa, further developing a broad legal practice across civil and commercial matters. He also gained experience in insurance defence and commercial litigation after articling with a litigation boutique in Toronto. During his time in law school, Dylan played an important role assisting senior partners in two trials before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice as a student intern with a family law firm. He was elected by his classmates to serve as the representative to both the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association for two consecutive terms, sitting on the Articling Subcommittee and contributing to policy discussions on student licensing and advocacy. He also competed in the Lincoln Alexander Negotiation Cup during his second year of law school, and successfully advanced to the semi-finals. Prior to law school, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics (Honours), and defended his thesis studying the impact of Parkinson’s disease on saccadic eye movements. Dylan is a huge hockey and Ottawa Senators fan, and hopes to one day see the team bring the Stanley Cup back to Ottawa. He also enjoys going on hiking trails in Gatineau and training in Brazilian jiu jitsu.
